the day that the #DMV has highly anticipated. our infamous DC Ambassador, Wale, has released his debut album- attention deficit. many artists, no… many people, of the region feel that this has been a landmark date, the first rapper out of the DC area that has a nationally (possibly even globally) acclaimed album hitting the CD shelves.
i’ve been following the twitterfeeds since before midnight & #attentiondeficit has been trending, and i’ve heard that the album is sold out in many stores in the area. however, do not fret i have the itunes link for you- Attention Deficit and Wale’s management has made it clear that more albums will be released tomorrow, so if you want that hard copy of the album be sure to check out the retailers in the upcoming hours.
everyone’s talking about the album, this will be a large step forward for the DMV artistic scene if Wale does well, so help boost the dude’s sales!
- The Washington Post had something to say about the album- Wale Opens a Panderer’s Box
- The New York Times adds to the #attentiondeficit hype- Critic’s Choice: New CDs from Wale
