europe is cooler than you think, you probably can’t tell by these pictures, but for some odd reason i love those two above. i’ve taken much better and quality photos since i’ve gotten on the plane from dulles, but for some reason these two pictures say it all for me. i haven’t experienced much just yet, i blame the jet lag that’s got me blogging at 2:41am (UK time), while everyone is snoring away. i’m not quite sure what i’m getting into for the rest of the week, but i’ll be sure to enjoy it and capture some more pictures. i’m not even sure how many of you guys have been keeping up to date on my blog, or even my whereabouts. my iPhone has been out of commission for nearly 48 hours now, and i’m back on the blackberry. with essentially no numbers and no credit for me to even make calls to the select numbers i even have, i’ve been disconnected from the home front. grief.

i’ve heard a lot of hype about this guy, but i never really got into it and checked him out. thank God for the various blogs that keep me hip every once in awhile because i’m glad i caught the attention of this video. smooth flow with a relaxed persona that many people don’t have these days. his upcoming mixtape K.I.D.S. releases in early august, so be on the lookout for that.

lupe is easily considered one of the better artists in the game right now with his intricate lyricism and his avid story-telling, but recently he’s been throwing his fans into a loop with all this album/mixtape release hearsay. he’s sparked a little controversy between fans and fellow producers, it’s quite crazy. i’m not exactly sure how i feel about his attitude anymore after his 20+ tweet rant, but i’m not buying into the hype…lupe’s still my mans and you won’t find his battle with NahRight.com & Prolyfic on this blog, cause that sh*t doesn’t really entertain me. just make me some good music and show your face in my area every now and again, and you’ll keep me as a fan.

three articles of luggage, one me. nineteen days on the side of the atlas known for its lavish lifestyle and carefree, while tolerant, prestige.

i’m not quite sure what i’m gonna get into in europe, but i’m sure i’m gonna enjoy every moment of it. y’all know me, everything is about productivity: if you are gonna live this life, make sure you enjoy it and make the best out of it. so following in that mindset, i’m making this trip more of an “informative” study adventure. by all means, i’m going to do everything that you could possibly think i’d do (and a little more), but i want to walk away from this cherished experience with a new outlook on europe and life, if possible. a few posts back, i said i’d be on something like a mission. well the exact words were these- “i’m headed to europe in less than two weeks and while i’m kickbacked, relaxed, i’m gonna be on a chase for european lifestyle. which will include finding: how the europeans party, what they listen to, and how they carry themselves on a day-to-day basis; it’s just a personal mission of mine to broaden my horizons.”

so yes…as a summation of my trip, i’m going to have a chopped up series named Yearning for the European lifestyle. where i throw out videos and pictures of my whole nineteen day ordeal in london/paris/wherever the wind takes us. i think it’ll be fun and quite informative for those who follow my thoughts. speaking of following, i’m not too sure how i’ll be able to connect with any of my people over here, in the states. my money isn’t strong enough to take on the roaming charges that AT&T might possibly slap me with when I get back, so the iPhone 4 is purely gonna be over wifi and used constantly as a recorded memory capturer. if i can get this blackberry in operation, BBM me. an old summer jammie from a few years back. it never gets old to me and the message is quite unique, well it’s at least compelling as sh*t. that dance, above, is classic. the ATL, well durty south, is known for their choreography when it comes to the hip-hop scene and i can only applaud them. those fellas did the track justice, i must say. but anyways, i have a loaded brain tonight so it may just seem like i’m rambling about some crazy sh*t right now, so i’ll let y’all enjoy this video and grab this loosie. enjoy- Download: Weerdo – Hollyweerd.

i don’t know too much about these fellas, matter fact, i don’t think i’ve ever heard of them until i downloaded that jammie above. i think that track did something for me, i’m not exactly sure what it did, nor do i know if it was positive or negative. anyways, i think i’ll grab their mixtape that’ll be released at the end of this *week, mixed by Don Cannon (step baaack!) and see where that takes me. enjoy that.

Pharrell is one of the HNIC when it comes to the music industry, he knows it well and has performed exceptionally in his years. I’m not too sure about how I feel about Clipse actually joining G.O.O.D. Music, but I’m glad to hear from greats about greats, it’s people like pharrell, pusha-t, and kanye that are keeping this industry alive.
